**What you will be doing on a day to day basis**
- Research and understand the market whilst working closely with the Sales Team Leader to identify and target key sectors, through intelligent use of the information and data produces.
- Book multiple virtual meetings daily with decision makers in relevant organisations.
- Ensure colleagues within the company fully informed of your activities and of all developments within the marketplace, both informally and through formal reporting
- Ensure all sales support tasks are completed accurately and to specified deadlines
- Deliver positive, well-researched and tailored sales presentations to prospective customers. This includes (a) researching the prospective customer (b) identifying relevant profiles/articles in advance of meetings to best demonstrate how the service will suit them.
- Proactively engage with Client Engagement Executives and trialists to ensure that the prospective customer is convinced of the product(s) value to their work. Define decision making process and persuade them to purchase our services over the phone.
- Create and maintain accurate up-to-date records in our Microsoft CRM, ensuring best practise on internal processes. Ensure all exchanges with prospective customers including issues, opportunities and useful information are fully recorded and evaluated.
- Have a thorough understanding of the market and products. Liaise with colleagues within the business in order to keep up to date with the latest product developments and through your own research

- Good interpersonal and communication skills - essential
- Experience as a sales executive or relevant role -desired
- Minimum 1 year business development or sales experience (any sector) - desired
- Negotiation -desired
- Objection handling -desired
- Financial Media Sales or an interest to learn - desired
- An interest in Private Equity or keen to learn - essential
