The **Customer Support and Innovation Centre APAC** supports existing business as well as the development of new customers and innovations for the APAC market in close collaboration with the sales & business development teams.
As our **Food Technologist Application**, you grow and support the Food Application and Development with Corbion’s existing as well as upcoming products in line with Corbion's strategy.
You report to the Manager Customer Support and Innovation Centre APAC.
**Responsibilities**:
**Technical support to the Food Application Team**:
- Participate and support the Corbion Sales team, Corbion Distributors as well as Key Customer projects.
- Contribute to new ideas development to develop new products & propositions for the APAC market with Corbion's products.
**Maintenance of Lab and Kitchen**:
- Conduct proper housekeeping to ensure that the lab and kitchen is safe and hygienic at all times
- Manage the food lab, the raw materials/chemicals, the equipment & procedures.
- Arrange for preventive maintenance and calibration of respective lab equipment to ensure good functionality of the equipment at all time.
**Administrative**
- Generation of SOP and guides for proper use of respective lab equipment
- Procurement of consumables and/or equipment to upgrade and ensure functionality of the lab
- Assist to Generate meaningful reports, presentation slides and other materials to effectively communicate findings and results internally within Corbion and externally to customers.
**Requirements**:
- BSc degree or equivalent in Food Science, Food Microbiology and/or Food Technology.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills.
- Commercially driven with creativity, passion, and performance orientation;
- A sensitive & flexible team-player.
- Self-confident and self-managing, pro-active and taking initiative.
- Good communication skills: listening, understanding and presenting to both technical and commercial audiences;
- You reside in Singapore.
- Flexibility to travel for work needs.
