A Research Fellow position is available in the Centre for Optical Fibre Technology, School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

**Job Description**:
The Research Fellow will work on a project to conduct the research on development of fibers for energy storage and fiber-based energy devices. The roles of this position include:
- Develop fabrication process based on thermal drawing to achieve fiber-based energy devices- Develop material synthesis and characterization system for fabrication and testing new materials for fiber-based energy devices- Develop and optimize fiber fabrication process to achieve high performance fiber-based functional devicesJob Requirements:
- PhD degree in the areas of Electronics, Materials Engineering, or other related fields- Hands-on experience in fabrication of optical resonators- Hands-on experience in fabrication of fiber devices- Hands-on experience in energy storage- Research experience in building up measurement setup- Demonstrated capability in scientific writing and presenting skills- Publication record in top journals is mandatory- Proficiency in English
