Supply Chain Development Scientist

We are looking for an independent Scientist or Senior Scientist who is curious, innovative and self-initiated. In this role, you will implement and support projects on Supply Chain and Logistics from data-driven and IIoT-enabled perspectives.
Implement AI-based supply chain and logistics planning and optimization, including vehicle routing solutions.
Lead scientific and technical initiatives in the field of supply chain and logistics planning and optimization.
Research innovative concepts and algorithms for addressing supply chain, logistics planning, and optimization, as well as related value chain challenges.
Formulate research proposals to secure competitive funding.
Lead technology development and technology transfer of robust solutions to the industry.
Create intellectual property through activities such as publications, TD and patents.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Ph.D. in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain Analytics, Business Analytics, or other relevant disciplines.
Prior experience with operational optimisation (e.g., fleet planning) is preferable
Strong skills in mathematical problem definition, optimization algorithm design, scientific
computing, and real-world problem-solving
Proven good track record of publication and/or inventions will be an advantage
Can-do attitude and ability to work with different needs of various stakeholders
