We welcome energetic and creative individuals to be part of this ambitious journey with us. **About The Role** We’re looking for analytical and passionate people to join our team as **Legal Counsel**based in Singapore. This role provides legal support to the Alta group of companies (“Alta Group”), managing transaction documentation, regulatory compliance, and legal risks while supporting company growth and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. **Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include** - Draft, review and negotiate transaction documentation relating to the core business of the Alta Group - Provide regional legal support to internal stakeholders in the Alta Group - Advise on all legal aspects of the Alta Group, identify legal risks and proactively advise and guide the business on legal or regulatory risks and issues - Advise on and work with external counsel on managing pre-litigation or litigation matters or complaints - Manage external counsels and corporate secretarial support and control external legal costs - Work closely with Compliance on all regulatory matters such as compliance with existing licensing approvals, adherence to AML, anti-bribery and sanctions requirements and considering cross-border restrictions - Any other legal related duties and support affiliated companies as and when assigned. **About You** - Law degree from a university which is on the list of Approved Universities of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education - Called to the bar in Singapore, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, or other commonwealth countries - At least 4 to 6 years of experience in a legal advisory or litigation role, either in a reputed law firm or in an in-house role - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed - Excellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policies - Familiarity with the Securities and Futures Act and other regulations and guidelines from MAS will be an advantage - Strong time management and organizational skills; able to manage and meet multiple deadlines - Fast learner, organized, meticulous, and highly detail-oriented - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to pick up new technology quickly Pay: $4,782.51 - $13,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance - Work from home Schedule: - Day shift - Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: - Performance bonus
