**Accountant (Maternity Cover)**

**SUMMARY**:

- Our client is a global private markets investment manager that invests across private equity, private real estate, private infrastructure and private infrastructure on behalf of their clients globally. They are currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join their team on a temporary basis (6 months).

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Bank Reconciliation & General Ledger accountability
- Responsible for month/quarter-end closing and group reporting process including closing journal entries and account reconciliations which will include coordination with external service providers in different jurisdictions
- Responsible for general accounting functions including fixed assets, revenue recognition and accounts payable/receivable of various group entities
- Maintain and improve file documentations thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Cash liquidity management and process involvement in accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions including handling of business card transactions
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as needed

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree or further education in Accounting/Finance
- 3-5 years of relevant financial accounting experience
- Reliable and trustworthy individual with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (knowledge in SAP is a plus)
- Self-motivated and proactive individual who is able to deal well with pressure
- Ability to communicate with both internal and external parties effectively and appropriately
