Global Asset Management Lead

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES**

Primary Scope: Responsible for developing and supporting the implementation of our global asset reliability program across the Textile effects division.

**Primary Duties**:

- Focus on Zero Harm and Compliance with all relevant corporate procedures
- Provide focus on global issues including - Manufacturing standards development, reliability improvement, cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive asset management program
- Support the sites in the development of comprehensive asset life plans
- Provide technical support and guidance to solve reliability issues
- Establish failure analysis system requirements based on multi factor criticality and risk analysis.
- Establish the requirements for engineering design reviews and participate in Operability, Constructability and Maintainability reviews.

**Special Features**:

- This role will not encompass any direct reports, however the Global Asset Management Lead will be required to set up a global asset management network to coordinate the site Maintenance/Engineering managers.
- In order to develop, implement and ensure execution of each sites asset management/MI strategy they will need to have considerable influencing skills.
- In addition to this, the Global Asset Management Lead should be part of the budgeting process for each site to ensure relevant cost is attributed to reliability related activities.
- Influence across the Manufacturing Excellence organization will be needed when integrating with the continuous improvement, process safety and CAPEX leads.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**

**Education**:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a total experience of 8 to 12 years; with a minimum of 5 years:

- Preferably with regional and/or global roles in chemical production environment.
- Preferably from a multi-national organization.
- Chartered Engineer Status (preferred)

**Know-how/skills**:

- Strong business and technical skills in the chemical manufacturing industry
- Must have a track record of developing and implementing an asset management program across single or multiple sites.
- Able to handle multiple, complex priorities and balance the needs of each according to business impact.
- Fundamental understanding of asset management (ISO55000) and continuous improvement (lean manufacturing).
- Experience of managing operational plants and infrastructure.
- Experience in managing stakeholders, both internally & externally.
- Systemic problem solver, implementing solutions to solve root cause problems.
- Ability to create an environment that encourages and rewards teamwork and collaboration, both internally and externally.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and strong facilitation ability.
- SAP PM Module, PSM & Safety standards will be added advantage
