**Roles & Responsibilities**

**Efficiency Improvement in Production**
- Analyse the current production process and Develop process enhancement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency within manufacturing.
- Implement strategy with cross functional collaboration to achieve results as per plan.
- Network with internal/external resources to bring best practices to lean projects and implementation at Tuas.
- Drive the improvement of plant efficiencies improving OEE, Waste and process optimization.
- Support implementation NPD/EPD projects.
- Ensure achieving Xtrim targets through process optimization and improvement initiatives.

**Quality**
- Ensure compliance to plant quality systems and product quality requirements.
- Lead and provide input in the technical investigation for product non-conformance or process abnormalities.

**Safety**
- Ensure operations abide by Reckitt’s Safety goals and comply with Company Health & Safety requirements.
- Provide leadership in developing/implementing plant safety & housekeeping programs.

**Role Clarity**
- This is an individual contributor role, however, from time to time, management may assign interns, trainees, or similar post to be reporting to this role.
- Lead and provide technical advice to Production Supervisors and Technicians on day-to-day production challenges which are process, engineering or equipment related.

**Key Challenges**
- Ensuring enabling of the improvements without impacting routine production and quality requirements.
- When there is a production process upset/ abnormalities, collaborate with Maintenance, Technical Service and Quality when necessary to propose a pragmatic production decision to move forward.

**Requirements**:

- Engineering qualification with 5 to 7 years of experience in handling Production, Engineering or OPEX roles.
- Commercial awareness: Understands the impact of Supply decisions on business profitability.
- Leadership: Exhibits confidence in self and others; Inspires and motivates others to perform well.
- In depth knowledge of Production and quality systems.
- Achievement focused and able to work in a direct and often pressurized environment.
- Entrepreneurial skills in terms of analytical and problem solving are key.
- Perseverance, tough-mindedness and ability to influence and demonstrate strong team working abilities and commitment.
- Able to manage Cross functional collaboration.
- Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem-solving skills.
