**Job Description**:
- Responsible for achieving monthly Body & Paint service revenue target.
- Responsible to garner more service revenue in Body & Paint business.
- Ensure claims and repairs are carried out in accordance according to MCF (Motor Claims Framework) guidelines and protocols set by GIA (General Insurance Association of Spore)
- Review and negotiate win-win labour and parts rates.
- Motivate and maintain staff morale in order to meet these objectives and consistently deliver the best service and strive towards achieving Company’s objectives.
- Responsible to investigate and respond to customers' feedback together with the team involved.
- Responsible for the quality of service and repair work as well as safety in the workshop in line with WSH framework.
- Authorize pick up/delivery and courtesy car service where required.
- Support the CSA in answering customer questions and handling complaints when necessary.
- Authorize Goodwill (within the LOA) request from CSA.
- Follow up on the completion of the technical campaign with the message reflected in GDMS during the creation of the RO.
- Ensure all customers are contacted within 3 to 5 days after the visit to check all work has been carried out correctly.
- Ensure close follow-up of credit debtors (credit customers and insurance companies) such that payment is received within the credit terms allowed.
- Monitor closely the opened Repair Orders (ROs), WIP & parts on backorder status.
- Take measures to improve results, such as motivating staff under his care, and streamlining the flow of work and working conditions.
- Plan workshop capacity and provide information to Service Advisors for scheduling body & paintwork appointments.
- Prepare Body & Paint monthly performance report.
- Prepare the Body & Paint staff incentive.
- Identify and coach individual CSA weaknesses/shortcomings with a view of improving their CSI score.
- Ensure the tidiness and cleanliness of Body & Paint service counter & workshop area at all times.
- Identify and improve the work process flow to set up a proper SOP.
- Prepare monthly report in terms of vehicle intake, WIPs, outstanding ROs, roll-over vehicles, credit debtors & dept. performance turnover.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in managing a mechanical/automotive workshop and leading a team. Experience in running a body and paint shop would be an advantage.
- Ability to deal with customers and knowledge in administering Insurance Claims
- Good knowledge about cars and its components, paint and bodywork equipment, warranty processing
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possess excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good knowledge of workplace health and safety
