We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Director to oversee and manage all the railway projects undertaken by the company in Singapore and the Asian region. As the Project Director, you will be responsible to oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of railway infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgetary constraints, and quality standards. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, engineers, and other project team members, to ensure seamless project implementation and achieve client satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage the overall project lifecycle, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational objectives.
- Oversee, manage and lead the team of Project Managers to ensure close supervision and coordination of the activities of multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, architects, designers, and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, as well as relevant codes and guidelines specific to the railway industry.
- Manage project budgets, track project expenses, and ensure efficient resource allocation.
- Conduct regular project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and professional development among project team members.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in the railway industry to drive innovation and deliver state-of-the-art projects.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in successfully managing large-scale railway infrastructure projects, including experience in the Asian region.
- In-depth knowledge of railway engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management practices in Singapore and the Asian region.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional project teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Sound financial acumen with experience in managing project budgets and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with relevant railway industry regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
- Professional certifications in project management (such as PMP) and knowledge of railway-specific certifications are highly desirable.
