A Research Assistant position is currently available in the College of Business, Nanyang Business School. One who has knowledge and interest in a social science research field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Education).

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist Principal Investigator (PI) in designing and implementing a research programme
- Assist PI in seeking and pursuing appropriate external funding
- Handle grant proposal documentation and associated administrative tasks
- Conduct literature review and data analyses
- Design and manage data-collection, including set-up and administration/coordination of surveys and field interviews, and assist in recruiting research participants
- Collate and perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis and managing the database
- Provide curatorial and organizational support for the delivery of key research outputs, e.g., conference, and publication
- Other administrative duties

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or social science related fields
- Knowledge and experience in social science research methodologies
- Good statistical knowledge and skills, including familiarity with statistical analysis software such as R and SPSS
- Experience in using online search tools, especially online databases (e.g. EBSCOhost, Psycinfo, etc.) hosted by library systems
- Familiarity with designing and implementing surveys using graphical-user interfaced software (e.g., Qualtrics, QuestionPro) is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel, Powerpoint), data visualization software (e.g., Tableau), and preferably referencing tools (e.g. EndNote)
- Possesses an excellent command of the English language, with the ability to write reports, proposals, publications, and presentation materials
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, and able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Has excellent interpersonal skills and can work cooperatively with both local and international teams
- Able to manage and organize participants for research studies and experiments
