**A day in the life of...**
- Develops products in a timely manner, using innovative ingredients / processes with ideas generated from consumer insight and meeting 60/40+ and Nutritional Foundation guidelines.
- Manages bench and pilot plant trials through factory scale-up.
- Innovates new product ideas as required and contribute and propose new ideas/activities for CMB RTD
- Build and document knowledge and share about latest methods, trends and developments in CMB RTD
- Integrate basic knowledge (or knowledge from other fields) in the interpretation of the results.
- Propose, plan and deliver technical and scientific support in projects for NPTC/NDC/NRC and/or Markets.
- Manage knowledge building and business related project activities with initiative.
- Present results/methods in written and oral form to interested parties or visitors.
- Manage projects according to briefs from the markets and start process in NPDI.
- Ensuring all stage gates are closed timely and within project costs, and performing risk assessment analysis and early equipment warning.
- Explore patentable technologies and processes.
- Provide accurate and on-time support to operation with effective (quality, cost and on-time) and sustainable solutions.
- Give operational support to customers, assistance in industrialization start-ups, follow-up product launches, including technical and product improvements.
- Identify and bring forward opportunities to Nestlé factories to improve CMB RTD processing.
- Broad understanding of Scientific, Technology, Quality and Safety and Environment knowledge.
- Develop related tools and competencies in the domain of activity.
- Actively participate in expert network to promote cross-fertilization between different sites (R&D, Org Units).
- Implement NHW and CSV strategies in practice. Begin guiding younger project team members.

**What will make you successful**
- MSc or PhD in food science, food technology, analytical chemistry or related fields. Experience in Biotransformation is a clear plus.
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of R&D or /and operating / factory experience
- Exposure in different part of the organization (assignments in different Centers or in Operations)
- Expertise in cocoa powder and cocoa process
- Knowledge with NPDI
- Up to date knowledge of quality, safety and hygiene requirements
