The Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (AIMS) Group provides investors with investment and advisory solutions, across leading hedge fund managers, private equity funds, real estate managers, and traditional long-only managers. The AIMS Group manages globally diversified programs, targeted sector-specific strategies, customized portfolios, and a range of advisory services. Our investors access opportunities through new fund commitments, fund-of-fund investments, strategic partnerships, secondary-market investments, co-investments, and seed-capital investments. With over 200 professionals across 15 offices around the world, the AIMS Group provides manager diligence, portfolio construction, risk management, and liquidity solutions to investors, drawing on Goldman Sachs’ market insights and risk management expertise. We extend these capabilities to the world's leading sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, governments, financial institutions, endowments, foundations and family offices, for which we invest or advise on over $300 billion.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead the origination, execution and ongoing management of secondary opportunities across the private equity and venture capital industry in Asia
- Evaluate the full spectrum of secondary deals including both traditional LP stakes as well as GP-led restructurings (continuation vehicles, fund restructurings, structured deals)
- Perform due diligence on private market fund managers across Asia, including assessing the quality of investment teams, investment strategies, alignment and track record
- Communicate investment views on the Asia private equity market to internal and external stakeholders and identify clear investment themes for private equity mandates
- Conduct due diligence across a broad range of private equity deal types and sectors
- Present investment opportunities to the Investment Committee through written and oral presentations, and conduct required follow-ups
- Coordinate the execution of investments across all deal types, including working closely with internal (e.g., internal counsel, compliance, cash management) and external parties (e.g., private equity managers, external counsel)
- Monitor the performance and risk profile of existing portfolio investments

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Corporate Finance/M&A/Leverage Finance/Private Equity/Other Private Markets Investing in Asia-Pacific
- Sound investment judgment and outstanding numerical, analytical and valuation skills for the purpose of assessing investment opportunities
- Excellent time, people and project management skills
- Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions
- Written and verbal communication skills in English; additional Asian language proficiency will be additive
