Your job will be to implement the company’s communication directions, initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities, developing and executing a results-driven, multi-platform communications strategy and plan in line with corporate and brand direction while reflecting local priorities. Core responsibilities include developing and executing communication strategies, which includes external communication such as marketing, media and public relations, as well as internal relations. You will also be the key leader in marketing communications, value-adding to our business units, with the digital marketing team being a subset.

To be successful in this role, you will need to use your skills and understanding in marketing communications, branding, content creation, press release writing, project and event management, liaising with relevant parties to assist and support the corporate direction. You will need to build good relationships with stakeholders and build a strong teamwork spirit across the departments, working hand-in-hand with the Business Units, Digital Media, HR, Finance and Sales teams.

You will report to the CEO and work closely with the Digital Media team from Philippines.

**Roles & Responsibilities**
- Leading corporate communication and branding initiatives
- Media Relations/ Public Relations
- Content development such as Corporate Presentations and corporate collaterals
- Website management
- External Communications / Working with PR companies (if needed) for special press releases or events
- Community affairs/ Corporate Social Responsibility
- Design and copywriting for employee messages
- Collaborate with other teams in employee engagement and culture building efforts such as organising Townhall and employee webinars.
- Draft press materials, organise media events, media monitoring, and crisis communications.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Recognised degree preferably in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or Engineering.

**Other Requirements and Preferred Skills**
- Min 3 years of relevant working experience in marketing communications, public relations or related position. Prior experience in the Steel Trading Industry is an advantage.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with an eye for prioritisation
- Excellent command of the English Language (spoken and written). Proficiency to liaise with second language is preferred.
- Strong writing skills and meticulousness
- Good planning skills, coordination skills and analytical skills
- Strong communicator with the ability to tailor communication style for different target audience
- Independent, creative and resourceful
- Ability to organise and conduct research work and meet timelines
- Good analytical skills, resourceful, proactive and able to work independently, as well as in a team
- Talent in showing ideas graphically
- Ability to use photoshop / Adobe to design brochures for print is an added bonus
- Competency in statistics, research techniques and feedback analysis is a plus
- Has a strong understanding of the media landscape in Singapore
- Good analytical skills, resourceful, proactive and able to work independently, as well as in a team

**Salary**: $4,500.00 - $7,000.00 per month
