Mackay Marine - Singapore, is currently seeking two (2) experienced **Marine Service Engineers **( **MSE) **to join depot in the Jurong area.

**_Marine Service Engineer Job Summary: _**

Under limited supervision, the Marine Service Engineer, hereinafter referred to as ‘technician’ or ‘MSE’, will install, service, and repair electronic equipment on board ships. The MSE will test, adjust, and troubleshoot electronic components, PCBs, sub-assemblies, and antennas as well as to load, update, and modify software. The MSE will use his/her knowledge of radio frequencies (RF), electronic theory, and circuitry to address a variety of technical problems. The technician will also make intelligent use of complex schematics, blueprints, and manuals to accurately achieve assignments and upon completion, compose a detailed service report.

**_Marine Service Engineer Qualifications: _**
- 3+ Years of experience as a MSE or Marine Electronics Technician/Engineer in the commercial shipping industry.
- Diploma in Electronics or equivalent technical education, training, and experience.
- Valid FCC General License with Radar Endorsement and GMDSS Radio Operator Maintainer License preferred.
- Be physically fit. Work environment often involves carrying or lifting 30 kilograms, climbing ladders and masts, and exposure to weather.
- Driver’s License - Class 3
