- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to define objectives for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives.
- Evaluate, analyze, develop, and optimize methodologies for machine learning.
- Analyze data and perform data labeling to enhance model accuracy.
- Conduct data analysis, preprocessing, and feature engineering to extract valuable insights from large datasets and improve model performance.
- Implement changes and optimizations to AI/ML algorithms to enhance functionality.
- Support the daily operations of AI/ML systems, including resolving customer support issues.
- Perform patch management for operating systems, software, and security on AI/ML systems during maintenance windows.
- Coordinate and execute disaster recovery activities promptly during service disruptions to minimize downtime and revenue loss.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation for procedures and configurations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational and cybersecurity requirements are met.
- Perform system, service, and security audits to maintain compliance.
- Engage with vendor support teams to diagnose and resolve technical problems.
- Work with stakeholders to align with operational and cybersecurity requirements.
- Develop playbooks and scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
**Skills for Success**:
- Degree in Engineering with a major in Computer Science, IP Networking, or Telecommunications/Mobile Communication.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python, R, or Java.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques essential for machine learning projects.
- Strong understanding of various machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.
- A solid understanding of systems and network protocols (DNS, TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS) and UNIX/Linux system internals (kernel, drivers, file systems, virtual memory).
- Experience implementing, operating, and supporting open-source tools for system and security monitoring on UNIX/Linux platforms (considered a plus).
- Knowledge of scripting to automate tasks (considered a plus).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and technologies (considered a plus).
- Knowledge of 4G, and 5G telecommunications technologies, protocols, and standards (considered a plus).
- Strong troubleshooting and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate and present effectively in both verbal and written English.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- A good team player with a collaborative mindset.
