**Overview**

Export Development Canada’s Indo-Pacific team is dedicated to strengthening Canada’s trade within the Indo-Pac region. This role will be critical for providing strategic data-driven insights and market intelligence to help the Indo-Pacific teams move quickly and focus efforts effectively. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Sr. Advisor will take a strategic approach to ensure that the IP teams are working together to progress in their goals, including (but not limited to), ensuring the right forums are in place, holding strategic sessions to ensure that the teams are aligned, and ensuring that all teams are working in an integrated and collaborative manner through leading CI initiatives and complex problem solving. In addition, the incumbent will be comfortable working with customers and partners to solicit feedback to see what more we could be doing to support our Canadian customers in region so that these insights can be fed into strategic planning and discussions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design and execution of methodologies to analyze and identify strategic opportunities for business growth and innovation.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with organizational goals and drive long-term success
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and emerging trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, addressing their needs and concerns to support strategic initiatives.
- Act as a key liaison between the organization and external partners to drive collaborative efforts.
- Design and execute complex reports, identifying and interpreting patterns and trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Translate insights into actionable recommendations that support business strategy.
- Manage relationships with internal clients, acting as a strategic business partner to support the development and execution of business plans.
- Provide strategic advice and support to internal teams, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Draft and implement policies and procedures that support strategic goals and ensure compliance with external requirements.
- Plan and manage the delivery of strategic projects, using appropriate methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Oversee the execution of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are aligned with business objectives.
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Develop and implement automation tools to enhance efficiency and support strategic goals.
- Develop and deliver training programs that support strategic initiatives and enhance organizational capabilities.
- Lead complex leadership development programs to support personal and professional growth.

**Screening Criteria**
- Completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration or a relevant field
- 7 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
- Proven experience in strategy development and execution.
- Strong market research and industry awareness skills.
- Ability to provide strategic advice and develop policies and procedures.
- Project management experience and familiarity with automation tools.
- Strong communication and leadership development skills.

**Eligibility**

**Salary Range**
- SGD $113,250 - $188,750 plus a performance-based incentive
