**Job Summary**:

- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including managing accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary financial information and ensuring that records are compliant with regulatory standards.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines. Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Support the finance team in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Monitor and report on financial performance against budget and projections.
- Monitor and analyze expenses and variances, and make recommendations for cost savings and process improvements.
- Supervise junior accounting staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient and accurate work.
- Ensure all accounting activities comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate policies and procedures.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring that all accounting entries are accurately recorded and that deadlines are met.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed by senior management to support business decision-making.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- **Minimum 2 years of experience**in accounting or finance roles
- Proficiency in accounting software (MSCAS/MAS)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and Singapore tax laws
- Advanced Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
