**Job Overview**:
The purpose of the role is to manage all corporate affairs activities and directing the business on corporate business/stakeholder issues that impact the corporate and brand reputation for SEA Pet Nutrition (encompassing the markets of Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and supply related opportunities linked to the factory operations in Pakchong and Chonburi). These include ensuring a strategic approach in the areas of corporate communications, internal communications, issues/crisis management, brand PR, Pet parent partnership, scientific communications, and Purpose related initiatives. The role is also responsible for representing the function in the Asia Leadership Team and its alignment to the overall Asia Pet Nutrition OGSM.

**What will be your key responsibilities?**:
As a member of the SEA PN Leadership Team, the incumbent is expected to lead the SEA Corporate Affairs team in driving a CA agenda that aligns with the overall SEA PN OGSM. Key stakeholders are members of the SEA LT (4 market GMs, and Function Directors for P&O, Finance, Logistics, Dcomm and Marketing)

As a member of the Asia PN Leadership Team, the incumbent is also expected to work closely with Asia Technical Leadership Team (Supply, Commercial and R&D) and CA Directors (Japan, India and China) with touchpoints to Asia GMs in ensuring CA alignment to the overall Asia PN OGSM. Underscoring both responsibilities are touchpoints with Global (Pet Nutrition, Petcare, Mars Inc) and cross segment (RC, MW) stakeholders where a One Mars approach is required.
- Shape Favorable Public Policy - Serve as an analyst, advocate, and thought leader regarding policies, regulations, rules, and other government instruments that impact Mars PN in SEA and its interests. Engage with public policymakers, opinion leaders, trade associations and other key stakeholders to inform, influence, and formulate favorable public policy that protects our freedom to operate and generates opportunity for growth
- Brand PR - Strategize PR plans for our brands that connect with pet parents through understanding of the category, our brand positioning, brand compass, customer and trade strategies, marketplace trends and competitive landscape.
- Issues and Crisis Management - Defines issues; engage with relevant stakeholders to mitigate/manage an issue; ensures business’ readiness to handle crisis; communicate clearly and succinctly with internal/external audiences during a crisis; and minimize the impact on the business. Effectively anticipate, monitor and contain risk, and manage crises that occur if risk - due to internal or external factors.
- Internal Comms - Drive business performance through aligning the organization; create and execute inspiring and compelling communications for associates focusing on business vision, engagement, objectives and priorities; help associates understand their role at Mars and its importance
- 3P (Pet Parent Partnership) - Drive a positive pet parent service experience through enhancing Mars and our brands relationships and interactions with pet parents and potential pet parents and delivering a best in class service organization that drives pet parent trust, retention and advocacy while also championing the voice of the pet parent to the business.
- Scientific Communications - Leverage scientific communications to drive affiliation to Mars and our Petcare brands amongst an influential specialist stakeholder group of veterinarians, vet nurses, vet students, pet shop owners and breeders in the growth driven markets of SEA
