**Context of the role**

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on an international stage, alongside household names, and join a rapidly growing FinTech company making a real impact on the lives of people in developed and emerging markets alike.

Reporting to the Global CFO, the role offers direct access to the firm's Executive Committee and plays a vital part in supporting global operations. This role will assist to implement policies, systems, and programs in the fast-evolving fintech company. This role will partner with legal, sales, treasury, and product teams in the regional and remote offices around the globe.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develops and implements accounting policies and systems to control the organization's financial assets and provide complete and accurate financial information and records
- Monitors and evaluates accounting policies, systems, and procedures
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances
- Lead monthly, and annual financial close and reporting process including timely and accurate internal reporting of results
- Ensure quality control over financial reporting
- Able to deal with complex accounting issues
- Lead annual financial audits
- Provide leadership and direction to the finance teams in all areas, including the management of staff performance and engagement activities
- Assist in the preparation of presentations on financial matters to the Board of Directors, investors, and other stakeholders
- Assist in M&A and fund-raising projects

**Professional Qualifications/ Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Economics
- Fully Qualified Chartered Accountant e.g. CPA, ACA, ACCA
- ~12-15years + Post Qualified Experience (PQE)
- Has recently held a Senior Director or FC role in a financially regulated organization
- Big 4 Audit trained is preferred
- Experience working in an organization with multiple entities, across multiple continents
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of accounting standards
- Possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and highly motivated to overcome challenges
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Good working knowledge of Oracle software will be an advantage
