Core Analyst, Trust

What will I be doing?
- Research and explore issues stemming from escalations through the completion of post-mortems and root cause analyses
- Conduct in-depth analysis of incidents that pose significant harm to our users and brand to identify issues and provide improvement recommendations supported by data
- Generate unbiased conclusions and assessments for adherence and compliance
- Self-driven and able to work independently whilst also being an effective member within a team environment across functions and a willingness to be hands-on in the delivery of projects;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, investigate and verify complex issues
- Partner with cross-functional T&S teams to drive recommendations to completion for continuous improvement and further mitigate risk
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement, experimentation, analytical thinking and precision, diagnose and identify areas for further analysis on an ongoing basis
- Use data to deeply understand issues at their core and deploy continuous improvement methodologies such as The 5 Why’s, Causal Factor Charting, Human Error Checklist, Fishbone, and Fault Tree

What should I bring with me?
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years working in an analytical, investigations or research role in a fast-paced startup environment. Prior experience compliance or trust & safety is a plus
- Lean Six Sigma qualification (relevant experience may also be considered)
- Comfortable querying and interpreting complex data sets and using data to drive outcomes (data driven mindset and SQL or Excel skills a plus)
- Attention to detail and extremely well organized
- Process and solution oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable presenting findings and insights to stakeholders and Trust and Safety leadership
- Excellent investigative, critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability of striving for operational excellence displaying outstanding analytical ability, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage concurrent projects with a track record of hitting targets and deadlines
- Proven ability to balance competing priorities, workloads, and tight timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Demonstrated ability to process and digest large amounts of information and produce succinct conclusions
- Ability to present information and new ideas in an articulate manner and translate this into practical solutions within the T&S teams.
