**Job Purpose**:
St George’s Church has an exciting Part Time opportunity for someone with training and experience in Church Ministry to Children, sharing the faith, discipling lives and supporting parents. The Midweek Toddlers’ Ministry Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Senior Minister and the Families Ministry Lead. The person will coordinate the Children’s Ministry initiatives of Tiny Tots Playgroup (including recommencing Tiny Tots after COVID and eventually increasing Tiny Tots from one morning up to 3 mornings a week) and be involved with Toddler Time (on Tuesdays). The role includes working with an enthusiastic team of volunteer leaders that the coordinator will oversee.

**Summary of Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Up to 3 mornings a week; oversee the ministry of Tiny Tots Playgroup (Parents and Babies/Toddlers) to offer faith sharing opportunities as well as support and pastorally care for parents and their children.
- On Tuesday mornings be part of the ministry of Toddler Time (Domestic Helpers and the Babies/Toddlers under their care)
- Work with the Sunday School Coordinator (when not involved in Tiny Tots) to prepare materials for the Sunday School class.
- Work with church staff, volunteers and parents to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for the ministries, including compliance with the Church’s Child Safeguarding Policy.
- Recruit, resource, train and support a team of volunteers to assist the ministry.
- Involvement in weekly Staff meetings (Tuesdays 2-4pm), occasional report writing and involvement in some whole church activities.

**Prerequisites**:
The successful applicant must be a committed to the mission and vision of the church, a humble leader, pastorally warm, hardworking, faithful to Jesus Christ and have already been fruitful in a similar role. Essential requirements include:

- A love of working with Children and Parents developing their faith. Formal education training is an advantage.
- Biblical and theological skills. Formal theological training is an advantage
- Experience in leading Children’s Ministry and an ability to lead by example.
- Proven ability to relate to Children and Parents
- Proven ability to share the Christian faith
- High competency in raising up, training and working with volunteer leaders
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Competent in administration
- Proven interpersonal and leadership skills

**Working Conditions**:
