Laboratory Technician, Remanufacturing Process

Perform high-power laser material processing using robotics, CNC and hand-held systems on-site of ARTC and occasional visit to customer sites.
- Perform material testing, sample preparation, microstructure & defects analysis in fabricated coupons and parts.
- Tracking and managing lab resource utilization, procurement, and delivery.
- Storage space management and optimization.
- Ensure high operational readiness by troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and liaising for repairs.
- Planning equipment maintenance and facilitating mechanical and electrical installations for new equipment.
- Assist in scheduling equipment utilization and procurement for project consumables.
- Secondary roles related to health, safety, environment, and procurement to manage the Risk Assessment (RA), Standard Working Procedures (SWP), Permit to Work (PTW), and chemical purchasing and storage.
- Identify and recommend improvement measurements to ensuring high quality in lab safety and 8S standards
**Detailed Job requirements**:
- Polytechnic/ Technical Diploma in Engineering
- Ability to learn and adapt new technologies to stay relevant.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience with high-power laser is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a lab is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS office.
