Supplier Manager

Skills you’ll need:
- Facilitates the transition of new products transferred to the Outsource Assembly & Test Supplier (OSAT) & Contract Manufacturing (CM) through safe launch programs and monitoring to ensure OSAT supplier & CM’s quality and manufacturing system meeting production ramp plan for new product introduction- Review and drive suppliers to meet or exceed all operational KPIs performance goals (Quality, Assembly Yield, Capacity, Cycle time, On-Time-Delivery, Service, Cost and Assembly & Test Technology)- Manage and supervise OSAT suppliers & CMs in areas such as performing IC & Module assembly, testing, and scanning operations of Silicon Labs product. Also provide technical advice and solution on manufacturing issue encountered while processing Silicon Labs product (lot disposition, yield issue, quality issue, delivery and performance issue)- Conduct regular review and analyze supplier critical process / product variation, process capability (CPk), customer quality incident trend, to prioritize areas of focus for critical quality improvement in manufacturing process- Manage supplier process change through Change-Action-Board (CAB) process, ensure all major/minor changes initiated by supplier are being reviewed in CAB meeting and execute change management process through PCN notification (if required) to customer in timely manner- To assess the risk in the supply chain and take appropriate Business Continuity Plan (BCP) mitigation action to prevent/minimize the risk of supply or manufacturing interruptions to customer- Coordinates technical and operations matters between OSAT suppliers, CMs & Silicon Labs headquarter- Responsible for identifying and executing cost saving, productivity and quality improvement project internally or externally that could have significant contribution to the organization.- Organize suppliers’ KPI performance review and SBR meeting through Silicon Labs framework & scorecard- Lead new supplier selection process to select and qualify new supplier into Silicon Labs supply chain- Responsible to expand Assembly, Test Scan, Pack capacity and resolve day-to-day manufacturing issue to meet Silicon Labs shipment demand

Education and/or Experience:
- Degree/Master in relevant Engineering/Supplier Management background- Knowledge in best practices of supplier chain management and strategies in semiconductor manufacturing assembly, module assembly and test processes preferred-
- Experience in SAP system is preferred- Familiar with Jedec standards and quality management system such as ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO14001- Strong analytical skill, and has written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate to all levels with both internally and externally stakeholders- Ability to work in a team environment both as a leader as well as team player contributor- Comfortable with a high-paced, diverse, multi-cultural, and global environment- Ability to manage and develop relationship with key business partners- Must be willing to travel
