**Job description**
We are partnering with a regional agriculture business in search for an Assistant Treasury Manager to be a part of the team. This person plays a key role in supporting the business with its treasury and cash management operations and will be working closely with the local and regional finance teams.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitors funds to maintain liquidity and the lower the financial and operational risks of the Group operations.
- Regularly reviews the cash position and the rolling cash flow forecasts of the Group operations; provides feedback for any identified issues and follows thru the resolution thereof.
- Conducts analysis and research on foreign currency trends, market developments, and emerging risks, and makes recommendations to senior leadership and country management.
- Monitors and analyzes foreign exchange rates, and provides forecasts and recommendations to senior leadership and country management on foreign currency trades.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of foreign exchange regulations and laws.
- Overseas the foreign currency exposure of the group and mitigate foreign currency risk.
- Provides guidance to the country management in executing foreign currency trades as needed to ensure the mills have adequate foreign currency reserves to support business operations.
- Works closely with the Country in developing and implementing debt management strategies that optimize the Group operations’ cost of capital.
- Develops and maintains financial models to analyze and forecast debt and interest expenses.
- Analyzes debt portfolios to identify opportunities for refinancing or restructuring debt to reduce costs.

**Qualification**
- Being a Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant or Certified Financial Analyst is an advantage with min 5 years of relevant experience within a related treasury function.
