M1 is looking for an experienced leader to join us in its exciting journey.You will have the overall responsibility for the organisation’s Infrastructure (multiple on-premises and cloud-based solutions), Corporate Network, Security Operations, Data Centre Operations, Microsoft & Amazon Web Service (AWS) Licensing and End User Computing (EUC).

**Planning, Designing, Leading & Strategizing**
- stablishes / optimize infrastructure design and enhance existing processes to meet business goals
- Sets transformational goals for the team and not only be contented with minor incremental improvements.
- Appreciates technology trends and strategizes to support M1 businesses
- Plans, coordinates and directs the functions of the Infrastructure including Cloud Services,Network and EUC
- Coordinates and identifies architecture and design of scalable, performant and cost-effective infrastructure, and management solutions.
- Reviews and recommends proposed solutions to ensure the delivery of a quality product or service
- Leads and mentors the team (of 8 - 12) and performs personnel functions (e.g. hiring,counselling, training, supervising, evaluating, providing professional development opportunities, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining necessary staffing, enhancing productivity of staff, and ensuring necessary department/program outcomes are achieved.
- Develops, manages, and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for departmental activities including coaching and developing the team for top performance

**Operations & Compliance**
- Oversee and deliver reliable IT infrastructure, Security, Network, Data Centre and EUC operations with established metrics, KPIs and SLOs
- Responsible for budgeting and financial optimization for all areas in scope
- Maintains and evaluates Lifecycle management of infrastructure hardware Delivers operational excellence and infrastructure best practices whether bare-metal or containers, both within the datacentres and within the cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.).
- Manages the Cloud and Compute Infrastructure Project Portfolios
- Identifies, hardware, software, external service cost estimates, and resource requirements to meet assigned project scopes and objectives.
- Maintains and evaluates Lifecycle management of infrastructure hardware
- Ensures compliance of departmental incident, problem, and change management procedures in accordance with ITIL standards
- Ensures project technical designs meet operational requirements, comply with infrastructure, security standards and complies with all relevant state and federal rules and regulations
- Provides and manages the delivery of services and support 24 hours a day for the purpose of providing services within established timeframes and in compliance with related systems standards and requirements
- Key involvement in all internal and external audits Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Works closely with internal users, partners and vendors to proactively manage all Infrastructure, Network and EUC topics and requests; and to maintain corporate network (including network in retail shops)
- Serves as liaison between ITS and stakeholders (internal and external) in the planning and onboarding of datacentre and cloud projects.
- Informs stakeholders of the strategy for deployment of new implementations, maintenance, and upgrades of existing equipment
- Oversees vendors’ work efforts on implementations to ensure services needed by the - department and organization
- Act as licensing and contract advisor for related products and services (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, etc.)
- Work closely with the Microsoft and AWS account teams to ensure operations support and support new initiatives and technologies
- Act as an escalation contact for both Microsoft and AWS for M1 & Vice versa.
