Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Supply Chain, the Procurement Executive will be responsible for supporting the procurement needs of the organisation. The role will aim to deliver cost savings, lifecycle value generation, demand management and innovation.
This role will contribute to the profitability of PACS and generate positive return on investment for the Enterprise Supply Chain function. The role is responsible to drive cost out, mitigate third party risks, rationalize and consolidate vendor base, lead sourcing projects and improve processes (both efficiency and customer experience).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited, to the following:
- Work closely with internal key stakeholders to provide support and advice on Procurement matters.
- .Ensure full compliance of the policies and standards set out in the Procurement Framework and Policy & Processes, and enforce ethical practices in all dealings with suppliers.
- Ensure timely execution of the end-to-end Procure to Pay process for requisition of goods and services, in accordance to the Procurement Policy and Procedures
- Support strategic sourcing projects to select and negotiate with vendors in order to ensure optimal supply chain performance, with a focus on quality, service, delivery, risk and cost. Activities include:Develop strategies to ensure competitive bidding and best value
Identify and execute on opportunities to conduct eAuctions
Execute plan for sourcing negotiations
Deliver cost savings
- Identify and execute value-add projects to expand influence / scope where appropriate. This may include partnering with the business to execute non-sourcing related initiatives e.g. initiatives that support customer acquisition
- Drive and support implementation of process efficiency initiative.
- Support business users with use of Procure to Pay system and act and address issues arising from the use of the system with users
Who we are looking for:
- Ability to work independently, with limited supervision
- Ability to think strategically and tactically to ensure recommendations are appropriate and realistic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Word
Working Experience
- 1 - 3 years of previous procurement or supply chain experience.
- Strong operational business understanding
- Strong and effective verbal and written communication
- Self-motivated, excellent organizational, analytical and time management skills. Ability to prioritize a wide array of initiatives
- Has an aptitude for innovation
- High integrity and ethics
Education
Min diploma in Business, Purchasing, Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field of study
