**About the team**

Technology is the backbone of our business. Our engineering team consists of talented and passionate engineers who are responsible for building adaptable, reliable, scalable and secure platforms for our products and services. Working in cross functional teams, our engineers collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Data and Security teams in delivering exceptional experiences for our customers.

**About the role**

As a Staff Software Engineer/Solutions Architect, you will contribute in a multitude of ways, from architecting phenomenal systems, creating and encouraging good software development practices engineering-wide, driving strategic technical improvements, and mentoring other engineers to take our capabilities to the next level.

**Responsibilities**
- Part of the team that owns the company wide technology architecture and roadmap
- Collaborating with other engineers to execute the technical strategy by building high quality software that can meet the current and future needs of the business.
- Drive adoption of contemporary practices, architectures, and technologies into our organization.
- Evaluate and integrate 3rd party and partner solutions across regions and markets where Doctor Anywhere operates
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and develop strategies to adopt suitable and/or novel technologies

**About you**
- At least 8 years software/product engineering experience in fast-paced environments
- At least 4 years of experience in designing and implementing large scale internet based solutions
- Track record of building scalable and highly available distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of trends in contemporary software engineering practices
- Exceptional knowledge and awareness of end-to-end technologies required to build modern distributed software systems.
- Strong knowledge and experience in at least two of the following
- Implementation of services using Java, Go or NodeJS
- React or Angular web development
- Strong communication skills with ability to work with individuals from multiple domains, from product owners to 3rd party partners
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment
