**Job Description/Responsibilities
- Arranges and conduct funeral and post-burial recitations in a professional, organized, and caring manner consistent with company policies and procedures
- Ensures client families are informed of the services available and ensures the delivery of selected services
- Handles contracts, legal documents, and collection of payments in accordance with company policies
- Arranges for the collection, cleansing, shrouding, and burial of all unclaimed surgical remains and fetuses
- Arranges for the cleansing, shrouding, and burial of umbilical cords and placentas
- Arranges for the cleansing, shrouding, prayer, and burial of stillborn babies
- Confirms authorization to proceed with the service arrangements
- Cares for the deceased in a respectful manner while performing a variety of tasks which may include: collection and transfers including the lifting of deceased bodies; washing and shrouding of bodies (of the same gender); lowering the shrouded bodies into the grave with recitation; assisting with other related burial matters
- Handles aftercare including delivery of documentation and assessment of customer service satisfaction through client surveys
- Ensures adherence to all professional, state, and religious licensing authorities, regulations, and rules applicable to the provision of funeral services
- Prepares and accurately completes documentation related to services, funerals, vehicle and equipment maintenance
- Conducts both virtual and in-person burial management courses based on Islamic jurisprudence
- Handles & manages 2 24hrs telephone numbers, Ihsan Casket & MTFA Burial. A Duty MTFA Burial phone will be given.
- Drive and maintain Ihsan Casket’s van in a clean condition and send it for regular inspections.
- Handles and manages publicity and marketing strategies for Ihsan Casket.
- Oversee monthly and annual MTFA Burial & Ihsan Casket reports.
- Be part of the ISO 9001:2015 QMS Team and Data Protection Governance Committee for MTFA Burial & Ihsan Casket
- Manages Ihsan Casket’s petty cash.
- Regularly updates the Executive Director and Burial Committee on the unit’s assignments, performance, and customer feedback
- Upholds and retains adab, Islamic etiquette, _and _heritage and grows market share through active involvement with the community, religious and other organizations
- Promotes and maintains a safe and healthy work environment

**Requirements
- ARS-certified
- A minimum degree in Islamic studies and a second degree in admin/marketing/ business are preferred.
- Well-versed in all Syariah (Islamic) aspects of funeral management
- Knowledge of computers and some software including MS Office Suite required
- High level of compassion and integrity
- Good communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Ability to work overtime
- Detail-oriented
- Possess 3/3A Driving License
