**Job Roles & Responsibilities**:
**1.**Maintenance Planning & Execution**:

- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical systems and equipment.
- Ensure timely maintenance of turbines, pumps, boilers, heat exchangers, valves, compressors, and cooling systems.

**2.**Equipment Inspection & Diagnostics**:

- Perform routine inspections and mechanical diagnostics to detect faults or deterioration.
- Use tools like vibration analysis, thermography, and ultrasonic testing.

**3.**Troubleshooting & Repair**:

- Analyze root causes of mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Supervise or perform repairs and overhauls of critical equipment.

**4.**Documentation & Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, equipment history, and inspection reports.
- Prepare reports on downtime, failures, and recommendations for improvements.

**5.**Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to safety protocols (OHSAS/ISO 45001) and environmental regulations.
- Participate in audits, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness plans.

**6.**Coordination & Teamwork**:

- Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams for maintenance activities.
- Work with vendors or OEMs for specialized services or spare part procurement.

**7.**Continuous Improvement**:

- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Participate in equipment upgrade projects or plant expansion initiatives.

**Requirements & Qualifications**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (for technician/supervisor level roles)

**Technical Knowledge**:

- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with power plant equipment: boilers, turbines, condensers, pumps, cooling towers, etc.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Basics of P&ID, technical drawings, and equipment manuals

**Experience**:

- **Mid-Level**:3-7 years

**Skills**:

- Problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
- Knowledge of safety standards and energy regulations
- MS Office and maintenance software (SAP PM, Maximo, etc.)
- Good communication and teamwork
