Nurturing and Discipling these young hearts and minds takes patience, enthusiasm, love, forgiveness, energies and a strong passion to sow, grow and glow them in the way God has instructed.

The Church is looking for a Pastoral staff to assist the Associate Minister and EDC to direct and supervise the Youth Ministry (YM) in its development.

The role is to assist the Associate Minister in shepherding the young generation (Children & Youth, Young Adults) and developing them into responsible God-fearing servants of the Lord.

It involves the holistic development of each and every youth by Nurturing and Discipling them to grow and glow in the teachings of God.

**Responsibilites and Accountabilities**:
The Ministry Staff defined primary responsibilities are as follows:
1. Work closely with YM Head of Ministry (HOM) & EDC Overseer to improve the YM Policy and processes in achieving the goal.

2. Participate and Contribute to the Youth Program including teaching and Bible studies.

3. Training and equipping the Youth leaders and ministry workers.

4. Assist in planning and execution of Annual Youth Camp and Youth Mission Attachment (Trips)

5. Provide Pastoral Care.

6. Develop and execute strategy with regards to transitioning between the age groups (e.g. CM to YM, YM to Young adults)

7. To contribute fresh approach to CM ministry and Outreach.

8. Any other duties or projects as assigned by the Senior Minister/Supervisor.

**Principal Accountabilities**:
1. Assist and work with YM and CM HOM to develop and grow the Youth and Children Ministry.

2. Assist the associate minister to plan, budget and implement processes/events that reach, teach, disciple and equip our youths for vibrant relationship with Jesus

3. Recruit, guide and encourage ministry workers in their area of responsibility.

4. In consultation with associate minister and Christian Education Ministry select and implement appropriate discipleship process relevant for youths to meet the challenges of their life station.

5. Provide Discipleship leadership by being a disciple maker, equipping fellow ministry workers to be disciple makers.

6. Create platform for youths to practice disciple making.

7. Provide pastoral care for youths and equip some fellow ministry workers to do the same.

**Requirements**:

- Aligns to the beliefs of the Presbyterian Church in Singapore.
- Experience in working with youths and young adults in Church setting.
- Relevant theological certification.
- Model Christ-like character, strong team player and personal touch as well as involvement in ministry.
