**Responsibilities**
- Be the custodian of Organization’s front-end development standards.
- Lead the front-end practice and guiding the various front-end tech leads in each digital product team.
- Mentor junior developers.
- Establish our front-end pattern library (for high quality front-end code components reuse).
- Refactor codes for better coding productivity, decoupling of interface dependencies, increasing code quality, increasing the modularity of codes, improving the user experience, establishing our capabilities to build and release app prototypes, integrating app development with content management systems to allow content owners to quickly update content without incurring change request cost.
- Establish Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) capabilities.
- Build HTML, CSS and JS prototypes to validate early interface concepts.
- Write scalable, maintainable and performant code for production.
- Work with server-side APIs written in various frameworks.
- Keep up to date with new, upcoming technologies.
- Contribute to the overall user experience of digital products.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.

**Our Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar areas.
- 6-9 years of full stack development experience.
- Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills.
- Strong exposure in React JS, Vue.js, ES2015+, Node.js, design tokens, etc.
- Basic understanding of Web Components.
- Knowledge of CSS web animation such as anime.js, greensock.js, etc.
- Knowledge of CSS preprocessors like Sass, LESS and Stylus.
- Knowledge of improving web performance such as optimizing images, minifying codes, etc.
- Experience in developing accessible codes according to ARIA or WCAG guidelines.
- Knowledge of automated unit, functional and regression testing.
- Strong understanding of responsive design.
- Experience in designer-frontend-developer handoff processes.
- Knowledge and experience with build tools such as Webpack.
- Knowledge and experience with Git.
- Experience leading a team of front-end developers.
- High level of integrity takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
