Asia Investments

The Asia Investments team was established in 2020 to invest in the large and attractive life sciences market in the region. With offices in Singapore, Shanghai and Mumbai, we support healthcare companies across the continent, with a tailored approach to accommodate regional differences, participating across company life cycles and modalities including public equities, minority investments, co-investments and buyouts.

In Asia, we are committed to identifying and investing in life science and healthcare companies that are leading innovators in their field. Our investments cover a range of healthcare subsectors, including medtech, life sciences tools and diagnostics, pharma services, healthcare IT and patient services. Our current geographical focus includes India, China, and Southeast Asia, with a strategy of selecting and managing high-quality assets, strong management teams and innovative science and/or business models.

The **Asia Investments Intern** will be part of a dynamic and growing team of ~20 investment and business professionals based across Asia, with experience spanning management consulting, business operations, private equity and investment banking.

The **Planetary Health Investments Intern** will be part of a dynamic and growing team of ~20 investment professionals based across Asia, Europe, and North America, with experience spanning scientific backgrounds, management consulting, private equity and investment banking.

**Investment Internship Overview**

As an **Investment Intern**, you will undertake challenging and varying tasks that offer participation in both investment processes and the active ownership of companies that actively benefit people and the planet. You will be involved in and gain valuable insights into investments within the Asia-Pacific region. You will work alongside our team of investment professionals to gain hands-on investment experience involved in evaluating and executing private equity transactions. The role will equip you with a comprehensive skillset and exposure to the full investment lifecycle.

You will be immersed in the investment process, and your core tasks will include:

- Contributing to financial analyses of potential investment cases through valuation models
- Helping to shape investment themes through primary and secondary industry research
- Conducting industry research on potential and existing investments and the markets they operate in
- Collecting, structuring, and efficiently analysing information on potential or existing investments

You can expect to learn how to perform valuation analyses and financial modelling in different industries to vet opportunities. Depending on your capabilities and interests, you will have ample opportunities to take on more tasks and responsibilities.

- Fluency in English (Mandarin is an advantage)
