We are recruiting an experienced Market Risk Analyst for a European energy trading organization to support physical and financial trading activities in APAC.

**Responsibilities**:

- Optimize the global hedges by analyzing the exposure of the trading books and advising traders on operational changes
- Monitor and control daily trades and modifications to trades entered for accuracy and reasonableness, particularly those that could change price exposure
- Check the quality and ensure accuracy of data in the information system
- Responsible for all daily and monthly P/L reporting
- Monitor, control and report daily pricing for physical purchases and sales activities.
- Monitor and report physical and paper exposure.
- Control authorized daily trading limits and reports for approval by senior management.
- Analyze, reconcile, and manage hedge instruments: Futures, OTC Swaps and Forwards.
- Controls daily Asia price assessments and the deals mark-to-markets.
- Provide statistical results, trades analysis and support needed to senior management.
- Interface with operations team to ensure that all risk
- and profit-related data in systems are up-to-date and accurate.
- Create and maintain hedging procedures with IT department to improve reaction to the market changes.
- Reconcile monthly and accounting system financial results.
- Develop analytical programs and management tools; improving all risk and performance control processes.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of work experience in a middle office / market risk position in a multinational physical commodity trading house (open to professionals with oil, enery, metals and agri background)
