**Leadership Responsibilities**
- Lead the VM team to plan, prepare and set-up all visual merchandising and promotional display (including signage, point-of-sale materials, etc) for seasonal change, campaign, promotions and ad-hoc events;
- Brief the team on projects and assigning projects/ tasks to team members based on skill set and workload;
- Understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each team member so as to leverage on the best of each person’s skill when assigning projects;
- Scheduling and planning of the team’s time and resources according to workload, projects and the day-to-day VM planning and execution tasks;
- Organise the team to keep track of VM post-mortem report, warehouse and BOH inventory, and more;
- Manage budget and expenses of the visual merchandising team by controlling costs of travel expense, vendor relations, signage, fixture expense, and in-house development of materials;
- Represent the VM team at meetings.

**VM Responsibilities**
- Develop, interpret and translate creative concepts into compelling visual displays for stores, pop-up areas and boutiques to maximize sales by reflecting brand image and seasonal inspiration, current fashion trends, inventory levels, store layout, and client profile;
- Work closely with Marketing Manager/ team, Merchandisers and Retail Managers on the visual set-up in the stores and planning of retail / pop-up display space;
- Ensure visual merchandising techniques are up-to-date with market trends;
- Display merchandise with visual appeals to attract customers;
- Maintain knowledge of the industry and competition through frequent shopping of markets and research of current trends in merchandising techniques, interior displays, and in-store design;
- Source and manage external suppliers / contractors on major display activities;
- Ensure compliance of SOP in visual merchandising efforts to uphold the TANGS standard of VM across all projects;
- Any other duties which may be assigned by your immediate supervisor/manager from time to time;
- Keeping to budgets.
