**The opportunity**

Peridot Schoolhouse is seeking an experienced and dedicated Infant Care Teacher, ACEY, L1, L2, or Montessori Teacher to join our team in the Bedok North East Region. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the early education and development of young children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

**Key responsibilities**

Providing high-quality care and education for infants, toddlers, or young children in accordance with the Peridot Schoolhouse curriculum and teaching philosophy

Designing and implementing engaging lesson plans that foster the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth of students

Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment that supports learning and exploration

Observing and documenting children's progress, and providing regular feedback to parents and guardians

Collaborating with the teaching team to ensure consistency and continuity in the delivery of educational programs

Attending professional development workshops and training sessions to continuously improve teaching practices

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education, such as a Diploma, ACEY, L1, or L2 certification, or a Montessori teaching credential

At least 2 years of experience working as an Infant Care Teacher, ACEY, L1, L2, or Montessori Teacher in an early childhood setting

Strong understanding of child development, learning theories, and best practices in early childhood education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Creativity, flexibility, and a passion for nurturing the growth and development of young children

Commitment to maintaining a safe and stimulating learning environment
