**Responsibilities**:

- Confirm compliance with IMO, classification standards (ClassNK) and inspections (JG) stipulated by the Japanese government and comply with technical standards.
- Keep abreast of progress and provide instructions to ensure work is carried out as planned.
- Able to manage budgets and procure and manage materials and equipment appropriately.
- To formulate plans, check progress and control quality accurately.
- Ship design drawings and technical specifications can be checked.
- Safe work planning by setting workplace safety rules and engaging in safety training.
- Able to prepare progress reports and report them to head office.
- Maintain appropriate technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Identifying and resolving problems occurring in the field and proposing improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
- Facilitate coordination with relevant parties (shipyards, classification societies, manufacturers, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
- Thorough control and rapid response in spare parts stock management, repairs and maintenance.
- Manage work teams, liaise with other departments, and coordinate effectively with clients.Positive personality, always willing to communicate and cooperate with shipyard personnel and ship's crew, and able to identify root causes and suggest appropriate countermeasures in resolving problems.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 15 years of experience operating and maintaining working vessels in the owner's capacity.
- Degree in Mechanical and or Electrical engineering
- Experience in working at civil construction sites.
- Experience in dredging works using TSHDs, Cutter suction dredgers, and or Grab dredgers.
- Practical experience at a shipyard.
- Experience in reclamation works using TSHDs.
- Experience in planning electrical equipment.
- Good knowledge of Electrical circuit diagrams.
- Good knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers and programming such as PLC ladder, function block etc.
- Good Knowledge of high
- and low-voltage electricity.
- Well-versed in ship maintenance requirements.
- Good written and interpersonal skills.
- Positive working attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent writing and high communication skills.
