**SPR Strategy and Data Science Lead, APAC**

The SPR Strategy and Data Science Lead drives regional Production Research strategy & projects, utilizing effective networking to advance initiatives to implementation. This role coordinates interactions with decision making groups both inside & outside of SPI to charter, prioritize, launch and optimize valuable Seed Supply regional initiatives. It is also responsible to manage the APAC Production Research Data Analytics team and responsible for data management systems & data analytics activities within the region.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Drive regional Production Research strategy and projects that contribute to enable our global commitment of incremental savings every year.
- Provide understandable validated analysis of trial to internal costumers driving strategical decision, supporting regional team data analytics needs and drives innovations in Data Science domain.
- Collaborate with R&D organization supporting HAM (Hybrid Advancement Meeting) developing and validating data QA/QC procedures that enhance decision
- quality to support new product launches.
- Lead processes and networks for cross-functional alignment, cooperation and deployment of Data technical solutions within Product Supply globally.
- Key Production Research point of contact for cross-functional partnerships in the region for the evaluation of new traits/technologies for crop production impact.
- Investigate external opportunities for collaborations or investment to enable product discovery and development.
- Operate as an experienced leader who is self-motivated, highly organized and possesses proactive problem-solving skills.
- Work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders to prioritize projects and resources, refine project scope, expectations, and potential benefit.
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to APAC Hub Production research teams, in areas related to projects, tracking, sharing information with key stakeholders and metrics.

**WHO YOU ARE**:
**- PhD / MSc with 5+ years experience in Agriculture / Statistics.
- Operations experience including metrics tracking, project management and budget management.
- Excellent communication - oral, written, and team working skills within a diverse organization.
- A track record of successful project delivery and technical group management preferably in a technology environment.
- Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining the overall business vision and objectives.
- Results driven and capacity to influence within a matrixed organization and across functions.
- Excellent people, managerial and organizational skills.
