Enjoy exclusive employee discounts for top-notch gear - where games and victories turn into epic celebrations **Requirements**: Your responsibilities as a Finance Business Partner (Retail) As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for enhancing management responsibilities and providing assistance in decision-making processes that contribute to long-term profitability. - Act as a counter-power, alerting as needed and proposing corrective actions; - Prepare and ensure that all accounting records reflect precisely the business reality, and adhere to both company standards and local tax and accounting regulations; - Communicate accounting figures simply and effectively to operational contacts; - Challenge current practices, if needed and propose new approaches; - Be a reference in terms of business & analysis **Business partner**: Contribute to the Stores' decision making - Have a deep understanding of the retail business activity, its constraints, rhythm and risks related to its business activity (Online and Offline) - Generate an overall Profit and Loss report each month that triggers speedy decisions - Know the key indicators of the retail scope of operations and create action plans, together with the store leaders / operations leader, to improve them. - Participate regularly in operational meetings; the quality and relevance of your meeting contributions make them sought after by the store team - Work closely with the finance partners in supply and logistics team to share insights and drive actions for value-chain synergy **Management Accounting**: Ensure financial forecasts are reliable and optimize management processes within your scope of responsibility. - Help the store team to ensure the reliability of forecasts (Sales, Margins, Hours, Stock, Expenses, Investment planning) - Together with Store leaders, monitor KPIs to keep track of the retail activity and drive performance - Regularly go over the 12-months rolling piloting planned in order to facilitate the budgeting process and evaluate current performance. - Alert if needed on stock and flow indicators (Stock levels, rotations of stock, etc.) **Financial Accounting**: Ensure reliable financial information - Ensure that the Profit and Loss accounts accurately reflect monthly income and expenses, and comply with company’s standards, and local standards; - Gather and identify business activity risks and reflect them in the financial books; - Ensure the completeness, existence and accuracy of assets (Inventory, Fixed assets) with the help of operations managers. - Booking of invoices, fixed asset management, journals as part of the tasks of an accountant. - Are a Sports-Lover - Have >2 years of experience as a Finance Business Partner, or as an Auditor, or in a related field. - Have a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, it's preferred **Benefits**: **A remuneration That Grows With You**: - Monthly bonuses, up to a whopping 10% of your base salary. - Dive into the opportunity to become a Shareholder and share in the success of our global family. - At the end of the year, reap the rewards of profit sharing based on the performances across the country. **Climb the Career Ladder**: - Elevate your skills with the power of our internal Decathlon Academy - upskill and re-skill your way to greatness. - Chart your course with internal career progression opportunities in both retail and our incredible support team. **Flexibility That Fits Your Lifestyle**: - Enjoy a flexible spending allowance annually for Sports & Health related expenses, including dental, vision and wellness activities; **️ Be the Ultimate Decathlon Insider**: - Revel in a fantastic 20% staff discount on ALL Decathlon products - yes, including bikes, kayaks, tents, and everything else you need for your favorite sports **❤️ Because We Care About You**: - We've got your well-being covered with comprehensive medical and insurance coverage. - For our female champions, enjoy maternity benefits designed just for you. - And when life throws cu
