Financial Account Manager

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
The Financial Account Manager (FAM) is part of the local team and will work closely with our account managers to continuously exceed our clients' expectations.
In this position, you will manage and oversee a wide range of administrative and financial responsibilities in our growing portfolio to contribute to the further growth of our office.
Main responsibilities are:
- Handle accounting and financial queries from our portfolio of clients independently;
- Prepare periodic financial reports, budgets and cash flow statements;
- Cash management, including management of bank accounts and payment instructions;
- Prepare statutory financial reports (stand alone and consolidated) and client specific reports;
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns, including GST;
- Work in an organized manner to ensure timely and accurate filing of administrative records and meet regulatory deadlines;
- Maintain close contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers and other professional providers to obtain the required information for reporting purposes;
- Prepare and analyze the monthly, quarterly and annual figures;
- Set up and maintain accounting and financial administration systems;
- Undertake ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor(s) appropriate to the role and business requirements.
**HOW DO YOU FIT INTO THE TEAM?**
As Financial Account Manager, you are organized and required to support the Fund and Corporate Services team in delivering added value to the accounting and taxation discipline within Trustmoore. This is a client facing role, as such, refined communication skills are essential to succeed. In this position, you need to prioritize your tasks, have a hands on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with deadlines. You are proactive, collaborative and willing to share your knowledge with colleagues and clients.
Other relevant qualifications for this profile:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in business administration, accounting or an equivalent;
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (SFRS & IFRS);
- Resourceful and results driven;
- English language fluency (both orally and in writing);
- Self motivated and able to work independently and as a part of a team;
- Ability to independently prepare financial statements;
- Willingness to work as a team and assist the client and firm in nonfinancial tasks.
