**About this job**:
The position as **Cat Portfolio Specialist** is embedded in the Cat Portfolio Analytics team, a highly analytical team responsible for catastrophe (“Cat”) portfolio steering, enhancing our Cat pricing tools and assisting pricing of Cat business, and Cat exposure monitoring and reporting across the group. Most of the team members are based in Zurich while there are Cat modeling analysts present in Singapore.

**This role focuses on Cat pricing support, Cat portfolio modeling and external reporting, and enhancing data quality, in close collaboration with the Cat modeling, actuarial, underwriting, risk management and external reporting teams**

Direct team of 6 members

**Key skills**:
In more detail your main tasks are to:

- Support pricing of property Cat business and provide Nexus tool user support in Asia
- Contribute to Cat portfolio modeling (roll-up)
- Lead Cat modeling data submission for external retrocession
- Support Cat related rating agency and regulatory reporting in Asia and worldwide, including solvency capital, ORSA, and climate change stress test etc
- Define standards regarding data quality and completeness, develop processes and tools and ensure that standards are met in collaboration with Cat modeling, underwriting and actuarial teams
- Collaborate within Cat Chief Underwriting Office and other relevant functions to support Cat portfolio steering and portfolio management to achieve a better risk return profile

**About you**:
**Technical**
- Bachelor or Master degree in mathematics or actuarial science
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience in the (re)insurance industry
- Knowledge of Cat modeling or R or SQL is a plus

**Additional**
- Curious to learn, proactive and solution oriented
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and independently

**The role will be based in Singapore, and work time can be 80-100%.**
