This position is in the Business Performance Finance group, supporting the Technical, Engineering and Quality organization. The primary role is working with stakeholders to build business case models to analyze R&D programs and capacity expansion projects. This function is critical to understanding the financial implications of the current R&D roadmap. In addition, this analysis drives commercial deals that secure wafer demand into future periods that define the company’s growth and profitability.
- Carry out investment analysis on GF’s overall Capital and R&D portfolio
- Orchestrate the generation of executive reports for key GF committees: CCSC (Capex cost and Systems committee), C&IC (Commercial & Investment committee), STC (Strategy and Tech committee)
- Conduct due diligence on complex deals and special projects, analyzing information from different data sources and building robust financial models to support business decisions
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define business transformations and drive business-planning activities, including strategy and objectives, annual budget development, and corporate performance measures
- Exhibit superior Analytical abilities, as well as Commercial and Corporate Finance Acumen - need to formulate accurate deal and partnership recommendations to the GF leadership team on a weekly basis
- Be comfortable with ambiguity and decision under uncertainty
- Have strong communication skills and experience preparing documents and presenting in front of senior executives
- Have semiconductor domain expertise, or have demonstrated an ability to ramp up on complex commercial, finance and manufacturing topics at an accelerated pace

Required Qualifications:

- University Degree in Industrial Engineering, Corporate or Manufacturing Finance, Business Administration, or another related field
- 7 Years+ Work Experience in Finance, Management Consulting, or relevant industry experience
- Language Fluency: English (Written & Verbal)

Preferred Qualifications:

- MBA Preferred
- Experience managing a small team is preferred
- Self-driven personality with strong analytical skills, structured work style and ability to understand complex matters quickly
- Very good communication and soft skills (ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders)
- Strong English oral/written/presentation skills
