Vertical Institute prepares individuals and businesses for the jobs of tomorrow. We specialize in teaching in-demand skills, building the next generation of changemakers and inventors through our world-class tech bootcamps in data, coding and UX design.
As the Admissions Specialist (EdTech Sales), you will responsible for selling Vertical Institute’s tech courses to our valued prospective customers. You will execute the sales plan to deliver maximum revenue potential.
**Roles & responsibilities**:
A. Sales Pipeline and Management:
- Drive the entire sales pipeline - from leads generation, initial customer engagement, qualifying, consultation to closure
- Participate in prospecting activities to build a strong pipeline for the company
- Feedback to the management on ways to optimize lead channels and close prospects
B. Customers Experience & Engagement:
- Promptly follow up on lead inquiries and personalize messages to each customer.
- Present the unique value of Vertical Institute’s tech bootcamps, tailoring them to achieve the needs of the prospective customers
- Provide excellent customer service, resulting in strong referrals or word of mouth
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 years in direct B2C sales, telesales, or telemarketing experience, preferably within the education or training courses space
- Experience in developing new opportunities, closing sales, and thriving in a target-driven environment, focusing on B2C customers (mid-career switchers, career upskillers)
- Hunter mentality and confident in prospecting clients
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals
- Energetic, hungry for success, and achievement-oriented while being empathetic, engaging, and consultative to customers
- Have a passion for technology, education, lifelong learning and employability
- A self-starter that loves a fast-paced environment and new challenges
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and genuine desire to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must
