We are developing innovative platform within Risk team to manage and process large-scale data effectively. As a Senior Big Data Engineer, you will harness cutting-edge technologies to design, develop, optimise, and maintain robust data pipelines, data warehouse, data governance, scalable data architectures, and efficient data systems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the risk business team to support the development of risk-related data systems.
- Design, build, and maintain the risk data mart, ensuring thematic data is reusable across different risk domains.
- Govern data assets, including tasks, tables, metrics, labels, and dashboards. Design and implement governance standards and SOPs, driving governance initiatives to successful outcomes.

**Qualifications**:

- Over 5 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in big data technologies such as **Hadoop, Spark, Presto,** and Hive, with practical experience in **Spark task optimization.**:

- 2+ years of experience in backend development, with proficiency in programming languages like** Java, Python, or Node.js.**:

- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and server-side technologies.
- Experienced in database design and management for both SQL and NoSQL systems.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Competent in project management and experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and set priorities.
- Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders
- Familiarity with risk-related business domains.
