**[What the role is]**
This is a 2-year position as a Lecturer, Community Development & Communications in the School of Humanities & Interdisciplinary Studies.
**[What you will be working on]**
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Curriculum development, course delivery (face-to-face/online) and project supervision for youth and adult learners in the following areas:
- Community Development
- Psychology, including Social Psychology, Community Psychology & Advocacy
- Partnership Engagement & Volunteer Development
- Workplace Communication
- Supervision of interns, final year project groups
- Leading and identifying new opportunities, initiatives and collaborations with the industry, institutes of higher learnings & related agencies
- Handle administrative work relating to teaching and assigned projects
- Able to teach at least one evening or weekends in the week
- Undertake functional roles such as outreach, student development, resource planning etc.
- Lead student overseas trips
**[What we are looking for]**
- A degree in Social Work, Psychology or related disciplines
- Direct practice and work experience in operations and management of social and community services
- Preferably familiar with working with youths, seniors, or persons with special needs/disabilities
- Preferably has experience working on social sustainability and/or behavioural insights project
- An agile team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Project/time management and attention to detail
