Job Description**
Team Summary**

The Marketing Measurement & Insights team sits within the Marketing function of Visa in Asia Pacific (AP) with a vision to be an insight-led engine of advisory. The team delivers consumer and market insights, & measurement analytics-based advisory to internal Visa stakeholders, and as a Value-Added Service (VAS) to our clients & partners.

**What a Director - Voice of the Consumer Insights & Trends Advisory does at Visa**:
Key responsibilities:

- Manage ongoing thought leadership research (primary qualitative, quantitative, secondary desk research, syndicated data sets and future trends) across functions and markets in Asia Pacific
- Proactively listen to stakeholder needs and conceptualize new thought leadership research that
- Addresses internal business priorities, and
- Has potential to be monetized with Visa clients & partners as a VAS
- Adopt a data-driven story-first approach to distill findings across a multitude of sources and identify key insights that will drive business decisions in digestible and engaging ways
- Manage VoC’s secondary data subscription & trend monitoring services and continuously stay on the lookout for business-relevant databases
- Manage end to end insight input into marketing planning & execution and be a strategic advisor for AP marketing function:

- Leveraging a database of generational, life-stage segment, and audience insights to provide impactful & insightful input across sources into creative briefs
- develop & execute creative development research plan (qual/quant exploration & testing) for key marketing initiatives
- maintain an ongoing synthesis of evidence-backed best practices for creative development
- maintain close cadence of communication & advisory with regional & global creative and media leads as well as local marketing leads
- collaborate and align with marketing measurement team on creative targets and KPIs
- communicate, influence and align with global marketing research counterparts
- Deliver end-to-end VAS insights and foresights advisory projects to Visa clients and partners in close collaboration with Visa’s client facing teams:

- Stakeholder and client discovery
- Proposal writing and follow-up
- Consultative selling
- Project management and vendor management
- Reporting and presentation
- Promote VoC research asset understanding, adoption and usage internally through engaging socialization initiatives:

- Newsletter
- Webinars
- Infographics
- Whitepapers

Key Performance Indicators
- Stakeholder engagement with research assets (quantitative through webinar attendance, newsletter readership, report usage and qualitative through stakeholder feedback)
- Marketing creatives that surpass industry benchmarks for pre-testing
- VAS revenue & margin target as well as client satisfaction score

- Maintaining a quarterly trend tracking program covering a wide array of topics in support of business priority areas as well as insights for clients as a value-added service
- Consumer trend monitoring & thought leadership research that provides foresights in commerce, future of payments & banking, digital currencies, etc.
- Maintaining a database of generational, life-stage segment, and audience insights
- Marketing communication development and pre-Ad testing research
- Primary qualitative and quantitative research that covers insights across all the AP countries
- Bespoke research advisory as part of Marketing Services VAS for Visa clients and partners
