1. Role Description:
This position reports to Director and is responsible to oversee and run the restaurant operation smoothly. Also to conduct regular update to the Director on the staff performances. To promote a harmony working environment and positive team spirit.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
1. Great coordination skills and Superior services
2. Efficiency of handling customer complaints and research of new vendors
3. Implementing of policies and protocols, supervising and staff appraisal skills
4. Overseeing the future needs for goods and ensuring compliance with safety regulations
5. Management efficiency and proactive mindset to improve restaurant standards
6. Detailed reporting and promotion of brand in local community. A great mindset to consistently recommend ways to reach a broader audience.
3. Competencies:
1. Trainee will be able to assist the Director in coordinating daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations, and able to assist the Director in delivering superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
2. Trainee will be able to assist the Director in responding efficiently and accurately to customer complaints, and also able to regularly assist the Director in reviewing product quality and researching of new vendors
3. Trainee will be able to assist the Director to Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations, organize and supervise shifts, and able to assist in appraising staff performances and provide feedback to improve productivity
4. Trainee will also to assist the Director on estimation of future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products, and able to assist in ensuring compliance with sanitation and safety regulations with the team
5. Trainee will be able to assist on managing restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it. And able to control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
6. Trainee will be able to assist in creating detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses, And able to promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events, and able to assist the Director in recommending ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
4. Duration of Traineeships: 6 months
5. Approved Training Allowance: Mature Mid-Career Individuals - $2400
