Microsoft Asia is one of the 3 regions of Microsoft Commercial Business and covers 6 Areas: India, Greater China Region, Japan, APAC, Korea and ANZ (Australia & New Zealand) multi-country region. All 6 areas of Asia have been a key enabler of the market IT growth through solid partnership with Governments, Enterprise, small and medium as well as IT partners and consumer partners of the region. Asia Finance team has the responsibility to partner with sales and marketing teams and be a bridge between corporate functions and 6 Areas. Microsoft Finance is a truly global finance team, and you will be part of the WW FC Community and representing Asia to make each other great and build on each other. The Asia OPEX (FC) primarily oversees management of Marketing and External Resources (XR) for Asia Region with strong internal controls; as well as the consolidation of other OPEX spend. This role is oversees budget, forecast, closing and reviews of Marketing, XR related Expense lines within Asia regional Management P&L; as well as the consolidation of other opex lines across Asia P&L. This role is vital key member of Asia Regional Financial Controlling team and meaningfully participates in financial controller rhythms. Through partnership and collaboration with Regional and areas SE&O teams and area Finance teams in optimizing the ROI of Marketing and XR resources. The role will also ensuring end to end flow for the region while continuing to drive for standardization and simplification. Key indicators of success - Marketing and XR cost forecast accuracy - Other OPEX expense insights - Finance Compliance results (SOX) with direct relation to the role - Standardization and simplification of processes - Strong community lead btw area and core teams - Sufficient and accurate SOX Controls. **Qualifications**: Required/Minimum Qualifications: - 10 years of experience in finance - Experience in Multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles is recommended. - Fluent in English - BA/BS or MBA degree in Finance, Economics - Exceptional communication skills - Strong attention to detail - Strong analytical skills and intellectual curiosity - Team player - Ability to influence, establish credibility, trust and partnership at all levels of the organization. - Presentation of results to senior management on a regular basis - have a growth and an owner mindset, act as an entrepreneur that focuses on business impact, and continuously learns and innovates.
