As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated Data Analysis Intern to join our team and support our efforts in analyzing financial data and tracking carbon usage to ensure compliance with climate laws and regulations.

**Job Description**:
As a Environmental Data and Sustainability Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s sustainability initiatives by tracking, monitoring, and analyzing carbon emissions data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for reducing the company’s environmental impact with role of carbon management and reporting. This internship offers hands-on experience in sustainability reporting, and carbon emissions reduction planning within the lighting industry.

**Requirements**:

- Currently pursuing Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Data Science, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Applications especially excel, Google Sheets, or similar data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with carbon footprint tracking methodologies and sustainability practices is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is advantageous.
- Prior coursework or experience in environmental data analysis, sustainability reporting, or emissions management is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to sustainability goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of systems or software to track, collect and analyze carbon emission data as part of the company’s sustainability program.
- Collect, verify, and analyze data on carbon footprints, providing actionable recommendations to reduce environmental impact in alignment with sustainability goals.
- Monitor energy consumption and resource usage to calculate the company’s carbon footprint.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends in emissions and recommend areas to reduce carbon footprint.
- Collaborate with different departments to develop and implement sustainability initiatives.
- Research industry best practices, competitor sustainability performance, and evolving climate / green regulations.
- Prepare clear and concise reports and presentations summarizing emissions data, trends, and actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to developing long-term sustainability strategies to help the company meet decarbonisation targets.
