Singtel is seeking for a Compliance Manager to join our Group Data Governance team where you will be involved in the following:

- Establishing effective compliance assessment operating model and remediation process workflow.
- Perform compliance checks and assessments to measure adherence to policy requirements and expectations
- Provide stop-gap measures and recommendations for the short term whilst working on the strategic long term remediation action plans with the BUs and individuals in scope.
- Provide recommendations on best practices that can be adopted across the organisation
- Drive risk analytics, data analytics and report generation where required as part of data governance and analytics function.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or industry recognized certification in audit, compliance, risk assurance, change management, security controls or equivalent.
- 6-10 years’ experience in data or corporate governance setup and operationalization, audit and assurance in risk and control domains
- Experienced in data/information security governance techniques and methodology will be advantageous
- Ability to develop scorecards and dashboards to track and monitor compliance activities
- Experienced in implementing technology-driven assurance framework and approach with much of the work delivered via automation
- Ability to engage and influence senior management / stakeholders across the organizational hierarchy to present/promote importance of compliance and assurance in managing risk
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical requirements in business terms and communicate clearly and concisely
- Self-driven and able to manage workload and prioritise according to importance and urgency
